8 Injured in School Bus Crash

Seven junior high school children and an adult were injured this morning--none seriously--when a school bus and a pickup truck collided near an exit ramp on the Harbor Freeway at 40th Place, authorities said.
The children were among 50 on the bus, bound from South Central Los Angeles to Francis Parkman Junior High School in Woodland Hills. They and the truck driver were treated at emergency rooms for scrapes and bruises, and neck, shoulder and back pains, hospital spokesmen said.
