Having waded through two issues of Calendar since the death of Ricky Nelson, we are both shocked and disappointed that no print at all was devoted to his career.
Surely his contribution to music surpasses many of the personnel mentioned in your pages. Both the local public radio stations (KCRW, KCSN) have had the sense to recognize that a giant of the industry has passed on.
What is the purpose of the Calendar section anyway? Can’t you people strive to be more than a Bruce Springsteen fan magazine?
