HOT FLASHES: Veteran KROQ-FM deejay Dusty Street, whose 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. show was the station’s highest rated time-slot, has resigned. According to KROQ program director Rick Carroll, Street’s departure was due to “philosphical differences over music programming.” According to sources at the station, Street clashed with station management over her music selections, which were often the most adventuresome part of the station. Longtime KROQ deejay April (who uses no last name) will take over Street’s time-slot. Carroll also confirmed that he is currently auditioning several former KNAC deejays, who will move in to handle some of the station’s weekend schedule.
