Christ College Handles The Master’s, 81-64

Derwin Appleberry scored 39 points and had 10 rebounds to lead Christ College of Riverside to a 81-64 non-conference victory over The Master’s Saturday at Irvine.

Christ College took a 10-point lead over the Mustangs in the first period and held at least that advantage for the rest of the contest.

Appleberry hit 12 of 17 from the field and 15 of 17 from the line as the Eagles improved to 13-4.

Phil Hahn scored a team-high 15 for The Master’s, and teammate Jeff Boehm had 12.

The Master’s fell to 5-14.
