Former professional boxer Dwight Williams was sentenced to prison for a minimum of 82 years after being convicted by a Syracuse jury of murder, rape and five other counts stemming from the stabbing death of two children following the alleged rape of their mother on July 8, 1985.
Williams’ spotty boxing career was highlighted by a national TV appearance against former Olympic gold medalist Mark Breland in 1984. Williams lost a decision.
