Pasadena : New Degree Established

Pasadena City College will offer an associate in science degree beginning in July. The Board of Trustees approved the program after faculty, administrators and student representative worked on it for more than two years. College spokesmen said the two-year program will emphasize occupational skills in a variety of sciences and students will be required to complete a broad range of academic subjects. The new degree will require courses in social, behavioral and natural sciences, humanities, language, rationality, mathematics, American institutions and health education.
