Master’s Defeats Pomona Pitzer, 5-3

The Master’s College opened its baseball season with a 5-3 win at home Tuesday against Pomona Pitzer.
Starting pitcher Shane Carriger went 8 innings before giving way to Mike Wilson with the bases loaded and two out in the ninth inning. Wilson induced Rod Shackleford to ground out to secure the win.
