The body of a commercial fisherman from Poway in San Diego County was recovered from the Pacific Ocean near San Clemente Island by a Coast Guard helicopter. The Coast Guard plans to search the waters off the island today for signs of wreckage from the Cindy Fay, the 40-foot commercial boat that left San Pedro on Feb. 21 on a fishing trip and had been reported overdue Saturday. The dead man was identified as Boyd Reeber, the boat’s owner. One other crew member, identified as Frank Germano, also was aboard the vessel, according to Robert Engel, a deputy San Diego County coroner.
