Cardinal Sin in Rome

ROME — Philippine Cardinal Jaime Sin arrived in Rome on Wednesday for a two-day visit that he postponed during the turmoil leading up to the overthrow of President Ferdinand E. Marcos. Sin, spiritual leader of his country’s 45 million Roman Catholics, the largest Christian community in Asia, was expected to have an audience with the Pope.
