Canada’s Mark McKoy set a world indoor best time of 6.25 seconds for the men’s 50-meter hurdles in a preliminary heat of an international track and field meet at Kobe, Japan. McKoy’s time bettered the previous mark of 6.35 set by Greg Foster in 1985.
