College Softball : Cal State Fullerton Shuts Out Louisiana Tech Twice, 1-0, 4-0

Cal State Fullerton received a pair of outstanding pitching performances Wednesday as it swept Louisiana Tech, 1-0 and 4-0, in a non-conference doubleheader at Fullerton.
Connie Clark pitched a three-hitter in the opener and Susan LeFebvre followed with a no-hitter in the nightcap. Clark (6-0) struck out nine and Lefebvre (4-0) struck out eight. Fullerton, ranked No. 3 in the nation, improved to 10-0 while Louisiana Tech dropped to 9-3.
In community college action:
Rancho Santiago 5, Palomar 3--Lee Bladow went 3 for 4 with a run batted in to lead the Dons (9-2) in a non-conference game at Palomar. Lorraine Kalehuawehe picked up her third win in four decisions and Kim Martin pitched three innings in relief to get her first save.
Golden West 8, Long Beach City 1--Lisa Brady threw a one-hitter, striking out eight, for the Rustlers (11-0) in non-conference action at Golden West. Brady is 6-0.
Golden West will play host to Cal State Long Beach, UC Riverside and Orange Coast College Friday night. Doubleheaders will be played at 5 and 7.
