Compton Man Arrested in Drug Slaying

A Compton man has been arrested on suspicion of murder in the shooting of a Pacoima resident whose body was found Feb. 26 on an embankment of the Foothill Freeway in Sylmar, Los Angeles police said.
Arrested on Wednesday was Roderick Earl Daniels, 26, Lt. Bob Stemples said.
Stemples said that the victim was identified as Daren Moss, 21, and that the murder appeared to be connected to narcotics.
Police said Moss had been shot several times at close range with a small-caliber handgun.
