Stater Bros. set a new date for its annual meeting.

The Colton-based supermarket chain set the stockholders meeting for April 28. The time and place will be announced later. After a proxy fight developed last month between the management of Chairman Bernard R. Garrett and suspended President Jack H. Brown, the company said it expected to postpone the session from the original March 20 date. Stockholders of record as of the close of business April 15 will be entitled to vote.
