Watson Is WAC Player of Year

SAN DIEGO — Anthony Watson of San Diego State has been named basketball player of the year in the Western Athletic Conference.
Watson, a two-time all-WAC selection, led the conference in scoring with a 23.1 average. His overall average was 22.5.
In Watson’s final home game, he set a school record by scoring 54 points against United States International University. He holds the school career record for field goals made (702), is second in scoring (1,735) and fifth in free throws made (331).
