Girl, 4, Dies After Being Struck by Car

A 4-year-old Garden Grove girl was fatally injured when she ran from the sidewalk into the path of a car on Lampson Avenue, Garden Grove police reported Saturday.
Police said Jennifer Ann Palmer darted into the street from the south side of Lampson Avenue near Monroe Street about 4:50 p.m. Friday. She was dead on arrival at UC Irvine Medical Center.
Officers said the 19-year-old driver of the car was not at fault and was not cited.
