Williams Is New Coach at Ohio St.

Gary Williams, who coached at Boston College the past four years, was named Saturday to replace Eldon Miller as the head basketball coach at Ohio State.
Williams, 40, had been rumored to be one of the leading candidates for the post almost since the Feb. 3 announcement that Miller would not return for an 11th season at Ohio State.
Williams reportedly sign a five-year contract that will pay $75,000 a year.
