Authorities in N.Y. Seize $50 Million in Cocaine

NEW YORK — Federal authorities Wednesday announced the seizure of more than 1,000 pounds of cocaine valued at more than $50 million--nearly 12 times the amount of drugs seized in the French Connection case.
U.S. Attorney Rudolph Giuliani announced the seizure and the arrest of seven suspects Tuesday in the Colombia-to-New York drug trafficking case.
