Motorcyclist Killed Near Warner Springs

A 36-year-old Huntington Beach man was killed north of Warner Springs when he lost control of his motorcycle on a curve Sunday afternoon, California Highway Patrol officials said.
The motorcyclist was traveling south on California 79 about 2:30 p.m. just north of Fink Road and south of Sunshine Summit when he lost control of the cycle, hit an embankment and was thrown into boulders, a CHP official said.
The victim’s identity was withheld pending notification of next of kin.
