BOND, PIERCE BOND?

Regarding Morgan Gendel’s ridicule of Pierce Brosnan as the new James Bond (“Tough as Steele, But No 007 . . . ,” June 29):
Since when has it been acceptable to publicly ridicule a fellow human being?
Perhaps his article was meant only to amuse and yet to call Brosnan “wimpy” as well as to remark upon his body hair, or lack of it, indicates a supreme lack of manners.
Brosnan has yet to even play 007. Get the log out, Morgan.
By the way, what kind of a “wimpy” name is Morgan?
