El Cajon Man Dies in Motorcycle Accident

A 40-year-old El Cajon man died Friday afternoon when he lost control of his motorcycle in a remote section of East San Diego County.
The victim, identified as Michael Edward Cravath, apparently lost control of the motorcycle while rounding a curve on Lyons Valley Road near Japatul Road, said a spokeswoman for the California Highway Patrol.
Cravath veered off the road and was thrown from the vehicle after hitting a rock. He was killed instantly, according to the CHP.
