In this trivial world of lists, charts and all manner of minutiae of information, it was only a matter of time before Rambomania would manifest itself in some trivial form or another.
The wait is over: Cinema Group, which is releasing the actioner “Born American” (starring Mike Norris, son of Chuck) citywide on Friday, is sponsoring the “first-ever” Combat Film Trivia Marathon at the USO Club in Hollywood on that date.
For the record:

In answer to the sample trivia question from the Combat Film Trivia Marathon in Outtakes last week, it was John Leyton, not James, who successfully escaped with James Coburn and Charles Bronson in “The Great Escape.”
Sample questions--with answers on Page 41:
1--How many Allied prisoners successfully escaped in “The Great Escape”?
2--What is Rambo’s first name?
3--What was the name of the American guerrilla unit featured in “Red Dawn”?
4--What is Tom Cruise’s nickname in “Top Gun”?
5--From “Apocalypse Now”: “I love the smell of ------ in the morning.” (Hint: It ain’t bacon.)
Cinema Group guarantees a prize to everyone who attends the marathon--if you’re over 18 and decked out in combat regalia, that is.
