Fumes Fail to Stop Thief but Fell 13 in Pittsburgh

PITTSBURGH — At least 13 people were overcome by fumes in a downtown building Tuesday when a canister disguised to look like a packet of money exploded in the hands of a fleeing bank robber, police said. The robber escaped, but the stolen money--about $1,400--was recovered.
