Pierce Advances to Final Round

The Pierce water polo team qualified for the championship round of the Mt. San Antonio college tournament with victories over Mt. SAC, 22-8, and Mesa, 10-6, Friday.
The Pierce trio of Dain Hurst, Matt Frazier and Brent Hermanson combined for 20 goals in the first day of round robin competition. Pierce won the Ventura tournament last week.
