Great American Indian Leaders Exhibit, 10:30 a.m., 1:30 and 6:30 p.m. weekdays; 11 a.m., 2 and 7 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
Native Animals of the Southwest Exhibit, 12-6 p.m.
Western National Draft Horse, Mule & Pleasure Driving (Antique Carriage) Show, 1, 7 p.m.
Rapid Razorback Pig Races, 1:30, 3, 4:30, 6, 7:30 p.m. daily.
Best of the Bands Competition, 6 p.m.
Friday:
Nordstrom Men’s Event--Clothing and Personal Grooming, 3 p.m.
Pumpkin Carving Contest, 4:30 p.m.
Pomona Valley Special Olympics Square Dance, 7:15 p.m.
Daily attractions include Big Top Circus, carnival, horse racing, horse shows, nightly fireworks show and professional and amateur stage shows.
Fair exhibits include Agriculture Pavilion, Commercial Complex, Competitive Exhibits, Education Expo, Flower and Garden Show, Home Arts, International Exhibition of Photography, Junior Fair, Livestock and Model Dairy.
Dates: Through Sept. 28.
Hours: Gates and buildings open at 10 a.m. Monday-Friday; 9 a.m. Saturdays and Sundays. Buildings close nightly at 10 p.m. except Fridays and Saturdays when closing is at 11 p.m. Admission: general, $6.50; children 6-12, $3.50; seniors over 62, $5.50 Monday-Friday only.
Location: Fairgrounds are about 30 miles east of Los Angeles in Pomona, two blocks north of San Bernardino Freeway (Interstate 10). Accessible from Ganesha, White or Garey avenues. For information, (714) 623-3111.
