The premiere of “Sledge Hammer!” was wonderful, super, marvelous! I hated it. Why? Because of that obnoxious recorded laughter. Why does ABC think that this laughter makes the show any funnier? I will never watch this show or any show with a laugh track. I truly hope that someday the executive producers realize that canned laughter only raises the cost of the show and annoys the viewers.
