Storms that dumped 30 inches of snow on Colorado mountains, hampering a search for a hunter who has been missing since Saturday near Durango, dusted the Great Lakes region and swept cold Canadian air eastward. Temperatures dipped into the 20s and 30s from the Plateau region to the Plains and a freeze warning was posted for northern Arkansas. Kansas City, Mo., set a record with 34 degrees, and records were tied in New Mexico, Colorado, California and Texas.
