Administration’s War on Drugs

Meese is to be commended for requesting that employers monitor locker rooms, parking lots, lavatories and nearby taverns to help control the use of drugs by employees.
Another step should be taken; the installation of electronic surveillance devices in the homes of employees would cut the use of drugs drastically. For those people who are self-employed or unemployed the government could install the devices.
Meese’s request has come none too soon. George Orwell’s “1984” is already two years late.
