A USC student suffered a minor gunshot wound while walking along Fraternity Row, campus officials said. Jeff Gehl, 19, was treated for a wound from a small-caliber bullet that passed through his foot. Two Los Angeles police officers who happened to be nearby on 28th Street reported that they had not heard the shot nor could they find a suspect. Campus police said the shot may have been fired accidentally from a fraternity house or other student housing unit.
