Kuwait Detains U.S. Attache

WASHINGTON — The U.S. military attache stationed in Iraq has been detained by Kuwait authorities but is expected to be released soon, the State Department said today. Department spokesman Charles Redman declined to release the official’s name or give details on his detention.
