Chapman Women Beat San Luis Obispo

Valarie Hartsfield scored 23 points and Susan Bergendahl added 18 Thursday night to lead the Chapman College women’s basketball team to an 80-76 victory over Cal Poly San Luis Obispo in a California Collegiate Athletic Assn. game at Chapman.
Laura Thomas scored 13 points for the Panthers (2-0, 9-6), and Tina Cavalin added 10.
