Orange County Prep Soccer : Fullerton Wins on Second-Half Rally

Manny Juarez scored with 10 seconds left Friday to cap a three-goal rally that lifted Fullerton High School to a 3-2 victory over Buena Park in a Freeway League soccer match at Buena Park.
The Coyotes (0-2 in league) led, 2-0, at halftime on goals by Viorel Hodis and Ekachai Sriphakdee.
Robert Grubbs and John Gilyard scored Fullerton’s first two goals. The Indians are 1-1 in league.
In the Century League:
Villa Park 2, El Modena 1--Jeremy Allen’s goal 15 minutes into the second half broke a 1-1 tie and gave the Spartans (1-0-1, 11-0-2) the victory at El Modena. Jason Euerakes scored off a pass from Derek Ujike at the five-minute mark, to give Villa Park a 1-0 lead, but the Vanguards’ Scott James tied it 25 minutes later. El Modena is 1-1 and 6-4.
In the Garden Grove League:
Bolsa Grande 4, Rancho Alamitos 2--Fernando Cueva, Jose Cueva and Randy Reynaga scored second-half goals as the Matadors (2-1, 5-7) won at Bolsa Grande.
In the Pacific Coast League:
Woodbridge 3, Costa Mesa 0--Matt Evans, Joe-Max Moore and Dave Galas scored to lead the Warriors (1-0-1) at Woodbridge. Woodbridge goalie Mike Goodman made eight saves in recording his first shutout. Scott Taylor made 17 saves for the Mustangs.
Laguna Hills 3, Trabuco Hills 0--Kevin Macare scored two first-half goals and Neil Fennel added another in the second half as the Hawks (2-0, 11-3-2) won at Trabuco Hills. Kevin Casagrande had seven saves and recorded his fourth shutout for Laguna Hills.
Trabuco Hills is 1-1, 8-2-2.
In the Sea View League:
Tustin 1, Saddleback 1--Jorge Oelias scored 27 minutes into the first half for the Roadrunners (0-1-1 in league). But Matt Alexander scored 11 minutes later for the Tillers (1-0-1, 8-4-2).
Newport Harbor 1, University 0--Garth Tamblyn scored with 15 minutes left to lead the Sailors (2-0, 8-3-2) in a night match in Irvine Stadium. Newport Harbor goalie Royce Hudson got his third shutout by making three saves.
In nonleague matches:
Kennedy 3, Magnolia 0--Fernando Sosa scored two goals and Mark Piening added one as the Fighting Irish (8-2-1) won at Kennedy. Kennedy goalie Jack McConnell made three saves in recording his seventh shutout.
In girls’ Angelus League play:
Mater Dei 7, St. Paul 0--Stephanie Duran, Christi Keller and Laura Spinner scored two goals each and Susan Hower one for the Monarchs (3-1, 9-5-2) in Santa Ana. Mater Dei led, 4-0, at halftime.
