The record-setting pedal-powered airplane Eagle has wrapped up its test program, and its team of university researchers prepared to head back to school. Glenn Tremml, 27, the athlete-pilot who set a new human-powered flight distance record by pedaling the 92-pound craft just over 37 miles around a dry lake bed, said his medical school classes at the University of Connecticut resume next week. John S. Langford, project manager of the Daedalus Human Powered Flight Team from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, said the last day of flight testing was the best in the monthlong stay at Edwards Air Force Base.
