Tennis star Tracy Austin is suing an Orange County savings and loan company for at least $393,000 in a dispute over a Palm Springs condominium.
The suit charges Ramona Savings and Loan, which was seized Sept. 12 by federal regulators and subsequently reopened under new management, with breach of contract and fraud.
Austin, 24, named both the new and old financial institutions as defendants in the suit, alleging that Ramona broke the terms of a 1984 agreement with Austin’s company, Tracy Austin Enterprises. Austin was to provide promotional services to advertise Ramona’s Cherokee Village condominium complex in Palm Springs.
