A 41-year-old man was killed Friday when a car made a sudden left turn in front of him and he could not stop his motorcycle from crashing into the vehicle, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Darrell Nicholson of Spring Valley died at the scene, CHP spokeswoman Debbie Russell said. The accident occurred about 4:45 p.m. on Rosedale Drive just west of Helix Street in Spring Valley.
The driver of the car was not cited, Russell said, and the accident is still under investigation.
