The World : Reagan’s Europe Trip Set

President Reagan will visit Rome and West Berlin during a trip to Europe in June to attend the Venice summit of seven major industrialized nations, the White House announced. The official statement said the President and Mrs. Reagan will be in Rome on June 3-6 as guests of Italian President Francesco Cossiga and will have an audience with Pope John Paul II on June 6. After the June 8-10 summit, the Reagans will travel to West Berlin on June 12, where the President is expected to deliver a speech marking the divided city’s 750th anniversary.
