Eight of Nine Cal Lutheran Signees Come From JCs

Cal Lutheran has signed nine players to national letters of intent, including eight junior college players.

Joining the Kingsmen program are offensive linemen Lou Williams (6-3, 245) of Shasta College and Pat Wolcott (6-3, 260) of Walla Walla (Wash.) College, and defensive linemen George McKenzie (6-3, 250) of Moorpark College and Paul Pierson (6-3, 225) of South Gate High.

Also signed were linebackers Mark McGrath (6-2, 205) of Saddleback College and Billy Culpepper (6-1, 205) of Eastern Arizona College; defensive backs Jeff Kelly (6-0, 185) of Saddleback College and Ted Briscoe (6-0, 175) of Ventura College, and receiver John Bankhead (6-1, 185) of Southwestern College.
