College Baseball : UCLA Tops SDSU, 7-2

Right fielder Steve Hisey hit a two-run home run in the third inning to lead UCLA over San Diego State, 7-2. Pitcher Alex Sanchez pitched a five-hitter, holding the Aztecs (9-7) scoreless until the eighth, when Nick Riesgo drove in a run with his second double of the game. John Hemmerly (0-1) was the losing pitcher for SDSU.
Cal State Fullerton 13, United States International University 4--Tony Trevino and Keith Kaub of Cal State Fullerton (10-8) hit back-to-back home runs in the first inning for Fullerton at USIU Starting pitcher Roddy Wilburn (0-2) walked 10 batters and gave up 9 runs in 3 innings for USIU (6-11).
Cal Baptist College 7, UC San Diego 6--UCSD (6-6) rallied from a 6-0 deficit, only to lose in the bottom of the eighth inning at Cal Baptist (4-8) in Riverside.
Point Loma Nazarene College 11, University of Redlands 9--Curtis Burton hit a two-run home run in the eighth inning for Point Loma (5-7) at home.
