Three Colombian nationals convicted in the machine-gun slaying of drug informant Adler (Barry) Seal were sentenced by a jury in Lake Charles, La., to serve life in prison without parole. Luis Carlos Quintero-Cruz, 34, Miguel Velez, 37, and Bernardo Vasquez, 33, were convicted of first-degree murder for Seal’s killing outside a halfway house in Baton Rouge on Feb. 19, 1986. District Judge Charley Quienalty set formal sentencing for May 21.
