Bombs Kill 1 in Soviet Asia

MOSCOW — One person was killed and three were injured in separate car and parcel bomb attacks in Ashkhabad, capital of the Soviet Central Asian Republic of Turkmenia, the republic’s Communist Party newspaper said. The motive for the bombings was not known.
