S. Africa Expels U.S. Reporter

JOHANNESBURG, South Africa — An American reporter who writes for Business Week magazine today became the third foreign reporter in two days to be ordered out of South Africa.
Steve Mufson, 28, said he received a telephone call from the Department of Home Affairs telling him his application for renewal of his work permit had been rejected. No reason was given.
