Cornell Scientist Appointed to Air and Space Museum

WASHINGTON — Martin O. Harwit, a Cornell University astrophysicist and space agency consultant, was named Wednesday as director of the Air and Space Museum. The appointment, effective Aug. 17, was announced by Robert McC. Adams, secretary of the Smithsonian Institution.
