Mission Viejo, Lynwood Meet in Tournament

Mission Viejo High School will play top-seeded Lynwood in the second round of the Summer Hoop Finale girls’ basketball tournament today at 2 p.m. at Bellarmine Jefferson High School in Burbank.
Mission Viejo, the seventh-seeded team, defeated Burroughs (Burbank), 43-19, in Friday’s first round.
El Toro, the eighth-seeded team, will play No. 2 Santa Barbara today at 5:40 p.m. El Toro defeated Palmdale, 56-14, in Friday’s first round.
