Grier, Campbell Lead U.S. to Water Polo Win

Mike Grier of Costa Mesa and Jeff Campbell of Irvine each scored three goals to lead the United States to a 12-9 victory over Australia in the first of a three-game water polo series Sunday at Newport Harbor High School.
The series continues Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. at Newport Harbor. The final match will be played 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at UC San Diego.
