Reggie Miller Scores 31 Points to Lead UCLA Alumni Over New Mexico, 155-129

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Former UCLA basketball star Reggie Miller, drafted by the Indiana Pacers, scored 31 points to lead the Bruins to a 155-129 victory over the University of New Mexico Friday night in an alumni game.
Point guard Phil Smith led the former New Mexico players in scoring with 28 points, while Rich Pokorski had 17 rebounds. Michael Cooper, now with the Lakers, scored 24 points and pulled down 8 rebounds.
Brad Wright grabbed 16 rebounds and scored 26 points for the Bruins.
UCLA led, 72-59, at halftime.
The alumni game at University Arena was part of a fund-raiser for the UNM Children’s Hospital.
