Mitchell Sims, convicted in the torture-murder of a Domino’s Pizza deliveryman, was sentenced today to die in the gas chamber.
Sims, 27, a former Domino’s Pizza shop manager who allegedly harbored a grudge against the restaurant chain, was convicted in May of first-degree murder in the death of John Harrigan. Harrigan, 21, was robbed, strangled and drowned in a bathtub on Dec. 9, 1985, after delivering a pizza to Sims’ Glendale motel room.
