Orange County Community College : Soccer Roundup : Cypress Loses to Long Beach

William Montgomery scored two goals Tuesday for the Cypress College men’s soccer team, but the Chargers lost to Long Beach City, 7-5, in a nonconference match at Cypress.
Montgomery, a freshman midfielder, played goalie in the first half.
Each team is 1-1.
In other action:
Golden West 0, MiraCosta 0--The Rustlers took 13 shots, 11 in the second half, but could not score in their season opener at Oceanside. Goalies Steve Ross and Erik Smith had three saves each for Golden West.
Fullerton 3, Riverside 2--Hector Alverado, Kirk Seirereison and Carlos Kurianski scored for the Hornets.
