Earnings Dropped 31% for PDA Engineering

PDA Engineering reported that earnings for its fiscal 1988 first quarter ended Sept. 30 dropped 31%, to $178,000 from $258,000 a year earlier. Revenues for the period increased, to $4.93 million from $4.89 million.
The company blamed increased spending for software product development programs and a larger domestic and international sales organization.
PDA Engineering, Costa Mesa, designs, develops and markets mechanical engineering software and provides advanced technology products and specialized engineering services.
