Griffin’s House Will Provide Jobs for Many

The letters of Marian C. Cox and Florence Glick contrasting Merv Griffin’s greediness with Mark Holsinger’s empathy inspired me to finally get that check off to the L.A. Mission in twice the amount I intended to send.
It is certainly true that we have become a very selfish country in our affluent days. It is taking us a long time to realize how unforgiveable it is that some people have palatial homes all over the globe while others do not even have a place to lay their heads at night.
Our creator did not give brains and talent to all of us. He gave it to only a few, not expecting them to use it for self-aggrandizement but to use it for making a better world for everyone.
