Sean Penn Arrests 3 at Home

Actor Sean Penn made a citizen’s arrest of three alleged prowlers on his Malibu property early today after hitting one with a bottle of salad dressing to defend himself and his wife, pop star Madonna, authorities said.

It was the second time this month that Penn, who has had his own scrapes with the law, made a citizen’s arrest of alleged trespassers at the couple’s home in this celebrity-filled seaside community. A 20-year-old man and two male juveniles were booked for investigation of nighttime prowling and trespassing after Penn and Madonna surprised five people when they came home from grocery shopping about 12:30 a.m. Deputies released two of the alleged prowlers after questioning.
