VIENNA — Czechoslovak church activists have collected at least 215,000 signatures on an appeal to the Communist authorities for more religious freedom, emigres here said Wednesday.
Roman Catholic primate Cardinal Frantisek Tomasek has received 120,000 signatures from Slovakia and 95,000 from Bohemia and Moravia, they said.
